A pharmacy in Palisade that is alleged to have improperly sold prescription drugs has paid $60,000 in civil penalties to settle the case, the U.S. attorney for the District of Colorado announced Thursday.
The government alleges that Palisade Pharmacy committed more than 480 violations of the Controlled Substances Act — including filling prescriptions for controlled substances despite missing required information on the face of the prescription — according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office news release.
