
Denver marijuana business Advanced Medical Alternatives is voluntarily recalling 27 cartridges of its THC-infused vape pen oil because they contain potentially dangerous pesticides that cannot legally be used on cannabis in Colorado.

Advanced Medical Alternatives, which operates out of its Golden Triangle shop at 1269 N. Elati St. in Denver, posted about Friday’s recall on its website and social media — .
“Advanced Medical Alternatives, LLC is committed to excellence in providing safe and the highest quality products to its customers,” the company wrote in . “Accordingly, the company has voluntarily recalled certain products that may contain potentially unsafe pesticide residues.”
The note from Advanced Medical Alternative’s ownership said the business is changing its testing program in hopes of avoiding future problems.
“Furthermore, the company is voluntarily implementing a new testing program for each crop produced by the company and/or that is incorporated into products produced by the company. The company will continue to strive to be a leader in developing and/or implementing the highest industry standards. Thank you in advance for your continued support of such efforts and the company.”
Advanced Medical Alternatives isn’t the only Colorado marijuana company to have been recalled multiple times. has issued three voluntary recalls; , also an edibles maker, voluntarily recalled product twice.
The Cannabist is maintaining an on their marijuana and pot products against those of the tainted recalled items.
