Denver police say they do not suspect foul play in the death of a pedestrian who was on Interstate 25 late Sunday.
Christine Downs, a police spokeswoman, said investigators are still looking into the death.
Suicide is being considered among possible causes, she said.
A Denver Fire Department dispatcher told The Denver Post the collision was initially called in about 5:45 p.m. as someone descending from a bridge onto the interstate.
The collision happened beneath the 20th Street bridge and led to a three-hour closure of the interstate’s northbound lanes.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner said it was working Monday to reach the person’s family before releasing the name.
