Denver’s coroner on Tuesday identified the 26-year-old man who was killed late Sunday after falling from a bridge above Interstate 25 into traffic.
Antonio Keith died of blunt force injuries after he was struck by at least one vehicle in the interstate’s northbound lanes, the medical examiner’s office said.
Denver police say they do not suspect foul play. Christine Downs, a police spokeswoman, said Monday investigators are considering suicide among possible causes.
A Denver Fire Department dispatcher told The Denver Post the collision was called in about 5:45 p.m. as someone was descending from a bridge onto the interstate.
The collision happened beneath the 20th Street bridge and led to a three-hour closure of the interstate’s northbound lanes.
