1 A part missing. A man took two of his cars to Tin Smith Garage at 11480 Cherokee St., Northglenn, to have the engines rebuilt. When he came back Nov. 11, the business was closed and the victim found one of his cars without its engine, and the other car was missing. There were several others stripped and discarded around the property.

2 Dirty laundry at Sonic. A drunken woman was arrested for screaming obscenities and threatening to kill an employee of the Sonic at 9500 Federal Blvd., Federal Heights. The suspect believed the victim was sleeping with her boyfriend, and so she tried to attack the victim at work Nov. 4.

3 Move-in ready. A property manager called police to the 11400 block of Melody Drive, Northglenn, on Nov. 11 because he was showing a unit to prospective renters when he discovered that a homeless couple had broken in and were smoking methamphetamine inside.

4 Suspicious shed. A police officer noticed a shed with a broken door at M&O Propane at 5420 Brighton Blvd., Commerce City, Security footage showed two suspects loading something from the shed into their car Oct. 27.

5 Past bedtime. Residents in the 2700 block of Hawk Street, Federal Heights, called police about a speeding car in the area around 1 a.m. Nov. 6. A teenage girl driving the car was taken in on a curfew violation and waited for her mother to pick her up.

6 Puffing. A man left his parked car running to warm it up in the 13900 block of Garfield Drive, Thornton. When he went back outside a few minutes later Nov. 11, it was gone.
