
1 Woman escapes the caterpillars. On Dec. 4, a woman called Denver police after a woman jumped in her car at a stoplight and damaged the inside. After getting in the car, the woman said she was escaping the caterpillars from a drug-induced episode. The driver took her to 7-Eleven, 6596 E. Colfax Ave., but not before the suspect sprayed steering fluid in the car.
2 Assault at strip club. Police responded to an assault Dec. 5 at PT’s Show Club, 1601 W. Evans Ave., where a man was attacked by two assailants. The fight was broken up by security and the men fled with $9,000 worth of gold chains.
3 Coffee thrown on man. On Dec. 5, a man called police after he was challenged to a fight and had coffee thrown on him in the 1600 block of Arapahoe Street. The victim said he walked past the suspect, who said he would give him “three free shots” and then beat him up.
4 Clothes ruined by roommate. A woman called police Dec. 6 after an argument with her roommate led the roommate to bleach her clothes and her child’s clothes in the 1700 block of West Stoll Place. The victim said she got into an argument with the roommate and left the house for the evening. When she returned home, she found her clothes in the wash with excessive bleach.
5 Man robbed with knife. On Dec. 7, a man called police after he was robbed by three men, one of whom had a knife, near the intersection of 26th and Champa streets. The victim said he was approached by the men and one put a knife up to his back while they escorted him to an alley. The men then robbed him.
