Through Sunday. In many ways, late singer-songwriter John Denver remains as much a part of Colorado’s landscape as our mountain peaks and brilliant sunsets. That makes this year’s “John Denver Holiday Concert” part hometown tribute and part seasonal celebration. Nashville singer Gail Bliss and fiddler Dan Wheetman, a Tony nominee and former member of the John Denver band, lead Denver classics such as “Christmas for Cowboys,” “Aspenglow,” “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” and “Back Home Again” alongside modern and traditional Christmas carols. 8 p.m. Friday, 1:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons St. $33-$55.
