Wallace was penalized for unnecessary roughness in the game, but Bruton believes he should face more punishment.
“I think so. Everyone is making a big deal out of Odell’s deal, but it’s nothing on (Wallace),” Bruton said. “I’m pretty sure my head was down, the play was over, whistle was blown. Heck, I didn’t go in there and shoot at his guy. That’s just what they do. They’re dirty. He left his feet trying to take me out.”
Bruton, walking with the help of crutches Monday because of his injured leg, said the hit from Wallace felt, at the time, like the hardest he’s taken. And Bruton has been the victim of a number of hard hits throughout his career.
“My neck tightened up immediately after that,” he said, “but I was definitely fine after that.”
Giants receiver Odell Beckham was suspended by the league for one game Monday, after he received three personal-foul penalties in a loss to the Panthers. One of them was a late helmet-to-helmet on cornerback Josh Norman.

Beckham was not ejected Sunday and vowed to appeal the one-game ban.
Talib was the last player to be suspended for an on-field incident, for his .
If Wallace is only fined, he could face a $23,152 penalty, per the NFL’s 2015 fine schedule.
