Thursday. Conventional wisdom holds that Christmas is for kids and New Year’s Eve is for adults, but “Noon” Year’s Eve allows the little ones to celebrate without dinging any bedtime preparations. This year, the recently expanded Children’s Museum of Denver is moving its party back home from the Butterfly Pavilion to its downtown Denver Marsico Campus. Kids can re-create their own Times Square countdown, get showered with rainbow confetti, play with bubble wrap fireworks and art projects, and watch music, storytelling performances and more. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 31. at 2121 Children’s Museum Dr. Members are free and public admission is $13.
