Coach Gary Kubiak listed linebacker Brandon Marshall’s right ankle injury as the team’s biggest concern coming out of their 20-17 overtime win over Cincinnati.

The Broncos got good news Wednesday when Marshall’s MRI came back negative for any significant ankle injury.

Marshall said he has “a low ankle sprain,” but the quick turnaround hasn’t been great for his recovery time.

“I haven’t done any jogging yet, but I’ve been walking good,” Marshall said. “It’s not too bad. We’ll see if I can go.”

He said he’s been doing a lot of mobility for treatment and the next step is heavy movement.

Kubiak said Marshall was the only player the Broncos had ruled out for Wednesday’s walkthrough practice.

Marshall has played all 15 games this season. Kubiak said he would not rest any players simply because the team has clinched a playoff spot.

“We’re all in on San Diego,” Kubiak said. “We need to win this football game.”

Welcome “Quadzilla”

The Broncos signed guard Robert Myers to replace the spot vacated by safety Shaun Prater’s release.

Myers, a 6-foot-5, 335 pound offensive linemen, was nicknamed “Quadzilla” during the combine for his massive 33 inch quads.

“Anything that looks that good, you’ve got to be proud of,” responded Myers on if he was proud of his nickname. “I worked hard, you know?”

Myers was a 2015 5th round pick of the Ravens spending most of the season on the team’s practice squad. That was where Denver nabbed him from Wednesday.

He came into the locker room with three suitcases, opened the playbook and smiled.

“Zone scheme,” Myers said.

That’s what he played in Baltimore and it should make his transition to Denver a lot easier.
