1 Man threatens to Tase, gets body slammed. On Dec. 15, Denver police responded to a fight between two men in the 700 block of East 20th Avenue. According to witnesses, the suspect was the agitator and threatened to Tase the other man. When the two got close together, the victim picked up the suspect and body slammed him.

2 No sleeping at the bank. A man was arrested Dec. 17 after he was observed sleeping at the Wells Fargo Bank, 1740 Broadway, and later caused a disturbance. The suspect was awoken by a security guard in the lobby. He then caused a scene and tried to kick the security guard and called him a racial slur.

3 Disturbance at Islamic Center. On Dec. 19, a man was arrested after causing a disturbance at the Denver Islamic Center, 2124 S. Birch St., by yelling and calling the congregation “terrorists.” The man had been noted as someone who had been a problem at other branches and had refused to leave.

4 Handicapped victim robbed. A man called police on Dec. 20 after he was robbed at gunpoint while sitting in his wheelchair near the intersection of West 17th Avenue and Yates Street. The victim said he was approached by a man who asked for a cigarette then quickly produced a gun and demanded his things.

5 Man assaulted at Civic Center Station. On Dec. 21, police arrested a man after he had threatened a victim with a blade in the restroom at Civic Center Station, 1550 Broadway. The victim said the suspect came at him and he called for help. When no one came, the suspect again advanced, but the victim screamed until security arrived.
