The return of has been one of the biggest music stories of 2016 since 2015.
Back in October, that James Murphy’s beloved electronic rock band would reunite to play this year’s Coachella. Even after representatives from the band spoke out to deny the rumor, the site only dug in its heels, saying it stuck by the info it had received from its unnamed source.
Last night, Coachella confirmed those rumors, listing LCD Soundystem as the headlining act for the first night of its three-day musical extravaganza.
Now, LCD Soundsystem has teased that there will be more than a one-off in Indio, California to look forward to. From the band’s website:
Still no word on when the dates will be announced or if the tour will be more than just the festival circuit, but stay tuned: the time to dance yourself clean is once again nigh.
