Isn’t it ironic that even if we had removed and destroyed the more than 300 million guns owned by Americans, the recent shooting of Philadelphia police officer Jesse Hartnett by Edward Archer would still have taken place, since the gun Archer used was stolen from a police officer’s home.
I support stricter background checks and lower-capacity gun magazines; however, bad people do bad things — they always have and they always will.
