visual art A colorful mix at DU’s Myrhen Gallery
through March 6. The exhibition “Learning to See Color” is a major event at the University of Denver’s Vicki Myhren Gallery. The sweeping show pairs well-known figures in the university’s art collections with contemporary artists who explore color in their works. In the mix: Charles Partridge Adams, Josef Albers, Carmon Colangelo, Renluka Maharaj, Robert Rauschenberg, Mario Reis, Norman Rockwell and Sandy Skoglund. To accompany the exhibit, the gallery has curated collaborative visual and performing events with the Clyfford Still Museum, RedLine and the Newman Center. Through March 6. 2121 E.
