The Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles deserves great credit for efficiency and rapid service. Frankly, I never expected to write such a commendation! But last week, I went to the Denver office on West Mississippi Avenue to renew my license.

Being of a certain age, I could not renew online but was required to take an eye test at the DMV office. I expected to spend the entire afternoon there. I had made an appointment, was taken within three minutes of my arrival, took and passed the vision test, went immediately to get a new photo, and was finished within about 20 minutes. The staff were gracious, helpful and professional. I want to let your readers know how exceptional our DMV here really is.
