Getting your player ready...

Newland Communities – developer of the hugely successful Anthem Ranch age-55-plus community in Broomfield – knew that when buyers got a chance to tour an enclave with actual ranch models on the south side of Denver, people would be lining up to buy. Now that opportunity is here – and sure enough, more than two dozen homes sold over the typically slow holidays.

You can get a sneak preview of four new Toll Brothers ranch models at Inspiration today. “We were ready to give up on retiring to Colorado,” one couple from Arizona told Toll Brothers Colorado Vice President Reggie Carveth, as they joined a flurry to buyers signing contracts. The pair was already living an age-55-plus lifestyle down in the desert, and wanted desperately to live closer to their Colorado kids and grandkids. They’d shopped for years in south Denver suburbs, waiting for something like an age-restricted ranch community to arrive.

“I’m giving up the mower, the fertilizer spreader, the rototiller,” another lady told me — coming from a home on two acres a few miles east. She was picking her design options for a new ranch – from one of 20 ranch plans to choose from at Inspiration, including four models you can tour by Standard Pacific Homes.

As of this week, Inspiration lets you choose from two ranch-plan lifestyles in its scenic setting a mile south of E-470 at Gartrell Road: At Hilltop at Inspiration by Toll Brothers you’ll preview brand new models and get the details on an age-55-plus enclave, offering three collections of homes from the upper $300s. Just across the way, you can tour Vistas at Inspiration, with Standard Pacific Homes ranches, with no age restriction whatsoever.

“There’s no place in metro Denver where demand for single-level living has grown as it has in the south suburban area,” says Lindsey Linkow Marketing Director for Newland Communities. “And until now, there has been a lack of offerings for buyers wanting a community with the kind of lifestyle they see at Anthem.” With this opening, Linkow adds, buyers can choose from no less than 20 ranch floor plans, displayed in ten models.

You’ll see the mountain views that Inspiration offers from its Douglas County site a few miles north of Parker’s historic Old Town – including some homesites overlooking the back ranges of the Continental Divide across Denver’s night lights; and others of the piney Black Forest. You’ll see some amenities already in place; along with the ‘Inspiration Club’ which is planned to feature a resort-style pool and event lawn for all Inspiration residents, now under construction. And at Hilltop, Toll Brothers reps will show you the site for the 9,000-square-foot ’20-Mile House’ exclusively for Hilltop residents – with outdoor pool, tennis, state-of-the-art fitness center, demonstration kitchen, and spaces for the same kinds of clubs and activities that Anthem has attracted.

To visit, take E-470 east past Parker Road to Gartrell Road; exit and head south 1.5 miles. For the preview of Toll Brothers’ new models, turn right on Inspiration Lane to Winnipeg. For Standard Pacific’s models, continue on Gartrell a block south to Rockinghorse Pkwy and turn left.
