A person was shot Tuesday afternoon in Denver near the State Capitol.
The shooting happened near the corner of East Colfax Avenue and Pennsylvania Street, according to a 3:28 p.m. Denver Police Department Twitter post.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. The injuries are not life threatening police said.
There was no immediate information released on a suspect or a motive.
