
1 Woman suspects man of being a creep. On Jan. 11, a woman alerted Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office that on Jan. 9 at Evergreen Lakehouse, 29612 Upper Bear Creek Road, a man took revealing photos of her. She said she was tending to a child when a witness told her the suspect was photographing her with his phone. The man said he was only texting. Deputies and lake house staff reviewed video footage of the time but could not pinpoint the incident or suspect.
2 Men fight at party. Golden police went to the 300 block of C Street, Golden, on Jan. 9 on a report of 10 people involved in a fight. Witnesses said two men were asked to leave multiple times and after they refused, a fight ensued. The men were treated for their injuries and refused to press charges.
3 Snowball fight. A resident of the 1200 block of Wyoming Street, Golden, reported Jan. 9 that a former resident was throwing things at his house. The suspect said he was trying to retrieve his belongings from the house. When people inside did not answer the door, he threw snowballs at the house to get their attention. No damage was found; the suspect was given a trespass notice.
4 Tools stolen. Golden police went to Autosport Collision, 17509 S. Golden Road, on Jan. 12 where a man reported about $8,000 worth of tools missing from a trailer on site. A lock was also missing.
5 Paper trail. A resident of the 300 block of Iowa Court, Golden, reported Jan. 9 that her neighbor found documents of hers in the middle of the street. The papers came from inside the resident’s car, indicating a possible break-in or trespass.
