
1 Torpedoes of terror. Several patrons, security and the owner of Oasis Bingo, 10657 Melody Drive, Northglenn, tried to get a man to leave the building after he wouldn’t stop babbling incoherently Jan. 21. The man spit at people and fought with them until police arrived. He told officers that they were his future, sent as torpedoes of terror. He was arrested.
2 Porch toilet. A woman called police to her home in the 11090 block of Claude Court, Northglenn, because a man was banging on her door, trying to get into the house Jan. 23. He ran off, but left a pile of human feces on the porch.
3 Up and over. A patrolling police officer noticed a green minivan with stolen license plates in the 6700 block of U.S. 85, Commerce City, on Jan. 23. He tried to stop the driver, but he drove over the pedestrian lane and got away.
4 Detox in jail instead. Employees at the Commerce City Detox Center, 7373 Birch St., called police about a drunken man who was making sexual comments, refusing to sit down and grabbing employees. He was arrested Jan. 25.
5 No muffins today. A customer at the Family Dollar at 6071 E. 72nd Ave., Commerce City, asked an employee where to find muffin mix. She said the employee was rude and wouldn’t help her, so they started fighting and the customer hit the employee Jan. 23. She was cited.
6 Stolen tools. An employee of an apartment complex in the 12200 block of Claude Court, Northglenn, called police Jan. 21 because he thought a resident stole his tools while he was trying to service the suspect’s apartment.
