Interview with Annie Coppock, owner
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: I have always loved photography — ask anyone who grew up with me. I always had a camera in hand to capture the moments. During college, I went the more practical route — marketing, advertising — and it wasn’t until I was home with my three kids that I could fully dedicate my time to learning the craft.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: I work very hard to bring creativity and originality into every session. Getting a different feel and look for each individual client. And we have fun! I love laughing, love making people laugh and love capturing that.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: I love the experience. It is so fun, challenging and fulfilling to meet someone and be able to “figure them out” and capture their essence in images.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Saying no. And handling the demands of the fourth quarter — busiest time with seniors, families, events, etc.
Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: I’m a one-woman show.
