1 “Doggie doo” left on porch.On Jan. 25, a man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies to report a broken window on his truck and a pile of “doggie doo” on his porch in the 7000 block of Shaffer Parkway, Ken-Caryl. He suspected an ex-employee and his wife.

2 Suspicious man reported.A man called deputies on Jan. 26 to report a suspicious man claiming to be with Denver police trying to serve a summons in the 10000 block of West Dorado Avenue, in the Littleton area. The suspect left a summons for the man’s son-in-law and departed. The son-in-law had a clean record.

3 Vehicle egged.On Jan. 30, a woman called deputies to report that her car had been egged in the 7000 block of South Quail Circle, in the Ken-Caryl area. The woman’s son, who had driven the car the previous evening, said he thought the egging intentional as it was the only car vandalized in the area. About a dozen eggs hit the car.

4 Man reports missing coals.A man called deputies on Jan. 24 after he noticed coals missing from an outdoor chimney and a mess nearby at his home in the 7000 block of South Depew Street, Columbine (Littleton). The man said he had people over to watch TV and fell asleep. He awoke to find his guests gone, the mess and the missing coals. The entire incident left him mystified.

5 Noisy neighbor finds flat tire. On Jan. 28, a man called deputies after he found that a tire had been punctured on his car in the 6000 block of West Ida Place, in the Littleton area. The man said his tire was fine the previous evening when he had been contacted by deputies regarding a noise complaint.
