WWE superstar Titus O’Neil has been suspended 60 days for unprofessional conduct, the WWE confirmed to The Denver Post.
O’Neil last appeared on this past “Monday Night Raw.” The suspension will run through WrestleMania 32, the company’s biggest event of the year.
At the end of Daniel Bryan’s retirement ceremony on “Raw,” O’Neil was caught on camera grabbing Vince McMahon’s arm as McMahon, his daughter Stephanie McMahon and Triple H were walking up the ramp. The gesture seemed playful.
Whether this was the cause of the suspension has not been verified — the WWE did not comment on this question. However, the WWE originally had footage of the incident online, but the video of Bryan walking to the back has .
O’Neil has received an outpouring of support from fans and fellow wrestlers. The hardcore legend Mick Foley reached out to O’Neil via Twitter saying something good could come of his situation. Twitter users have also started the hashtag #wewanttitus in support of the former tag team champion.

O’Neil shared a Bible verse from Titus 2:7 on his Instagram and Twitter early Thursday morning.
