
1 Serial creep show. Two women recently reported a man exposed himself to them in separate instances in Highlands Ranch. The first happened Feb. 1 at a business in the 9300 block of South Colorado Boulevard. The suspect, after exposing himself in the parking lot, followed the victim in his car as she drove away before stopping when he saw she was on the phone. The second incident happened Feb. 6 while a woman was at a gas station in the 8600 block of Quebec Street. Investigators believe it was the same man.
2 Construction site scoured. A construction foreman working in the 10000 block of Glenayre Court, Douglas County, on Feb. 9 reported windows for a new house being built in the area were stolen from a doorless garage they were being kept in over the weekend.
3 Hole in the wall. A man living in the 1900 block of Maxine Lane, Douglas County, on Feb. 7 reported someone cut a 6-by-12-inch hole in the metal wall of his detached garage. A bench against the wall prevented further trespass. Nothing was missing.
4 Shady shopper. Staff at the Noodles & Company at 9563 S. University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, caught a man trying to rip them off on Feb. 8. He paid for two drinks with a $50 bill then said he got the wrong change back, switching a $20 bill with a single in his hand.
5 A crook’s bounty. A family living in the 2900 block of Clairton Drive, Highlands Ranch, discovered their garage had been opened and their cars ransacked Feb. 10. Missing items included a purse, credit cards and a key ring with house keys.
