A vehicle caught fire in Denver on Friday evening, backing up traffic on Interstate 25.
The incident happened about 6:25 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway near the Colorado Boulevard interchange, according to a Colorado Department of Transportation Twitter post.
The Denver Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. There were no immediate reports of injuries, according to a Denver Police Department Twitter post.
The incident blocked the right lane of the highway and traffic in the area was delayed.
