According to your article, the Southern Poverty Law Center calls the Friendship Assembly of God Church in Colorado Springs a hate group because it teaches falsehoods about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender groups. The Poverty Center is equating the church s disagreement about sexuality with hatred, although this fits nothing of the dictionary definition of hate, which implies feelings of malice. The Poverty Center seems rather intolerant of opposing opinions and has further slurred the church by lumping it in with neo-Nazis.
