Denver-based DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc. has finalized its acquisition of The Everett Clinic Medical Group, a 20-site physicians practice with 315,000 patients in the Seattle area, the health care company announced Tuesday.

DaVita paid $385 million in cash for the Everett Clinic, according to disclosures made in a recent U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings.

DaVita’s in September came on the heels of the kidney care giant snapping up dialysis firm Renal Ventures Ltd. for $415 million in August. DaVita, which acquired physicians network HealthCare Partners for $4.42 billion in 2012, also has been expanding its operations overseas.

The Everett Clinic acquisition follows a broader trend of and within the health care industry.

Officials for Everett, which had nearly $400 million in annual revenue, said DaVita could spur future growth for the clinic in the Puget Sound region.
