1 Drunks harass cabbie, cops. A cab driver reported that two intoxicated men refused to pay for a ride to their home in the 6400 block of Harlan Street, Arvada, on Feb. 12. After being dropped off, they threw a set of keys at the cabbie’s head before tossing his property down the street. The men told police they thought they ordered a Lyft ride and had already paid before threatening to fight officers. The duo were issued summonses for assault and criminal mischief.

2 Sibling scuffle. A woman was issued a harassment summons Feb. 11 in the 8200 block of Jay Court in Arvada after she punched her brother when he told her to quit making noise.

3 Taco Bell trouble. A woman who showed up at the Taco Bell/KFC at 9200 W. 58th Ave. in Arvada to pick up her brother Feb. 17 told police an employee began verbally harassing her and then knocked a box of pastries at her. He was ticketed for harassment.

4 Serial shoplifter nabbed. An employee of the Hallmark store at 5111 Kipling Parkway in Arvada chased a man Feb. 13 who left without paying for a $37 purse and ordered him to sit down after confronting him until police arrived. Officers found 32 items valued at $541 crammed into the man’s clothing. He was arrested.

5 Heroin possession. Police arrested a man Feb. 15 for DUI and possession after he was found passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle with heroin in its side door at the Diamond Shamrock at 9989 W. 80th Ave., Arvada.
