DURANGO, Colo. (AP) — A small coffee shop chain in southwestern Colorado is closing its final store after 23 years in business.

The Durango Herald reports (http://bit.ly/2185aqt ) that the final Steaming Bean Coffee Co., located in Durango, will close permanently on Friday due to a dispute between the business owner and landlord.

The Durango shop’s closure will come on the heels of the Telluride location’s shutdown last spring. Steaming Bean Coffee Co. also previously had a coffeehouse in Gunnison. Company President Nick Hill still roasts coffee beans in Telluride.
