Wednesday. We find it nearly impossible to categorize the sounds that Spinphony creates on stage (and maybe soon on record), so we’ll let their own label of “high energy pop fusion/strings” do the job. The electrified string quartet, made of classical musicians who play in orchestras around town, mixes traditional with pop and a lot of showmanship for an act that’s likable, credible and plenty of fun. Wednesday’s 8 p.m. concert celebrates its success — and its current Kickstarter campaign (complete with ) aiming to raise funds for its first recording.
