Non-profit research group CompTIA ranks Colorado 13th for tech industry in its Cyberstates 2016 report.

Catching up: Non-profit tech organization ranked Colorado’s employed tech workers as 13th largest in the country, employing 187,242 workers last year. Annual salary? $106,350, which put the state ninth overall.

The annual report, published Monday, shares all sorts of factoids about Colorado’s tech workers. The state added about 1.7 percent new tech jobs last year, or about 3,088. Job postings were up 14.4 percent.
