1 “Squish” a popular tag. On Feb. 24, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies went to Blue Heron Park, 5518 S. Quail St., in the Littleton area, on a report of graffiti. Deputies found the word “squish” spray-painted on several picnic tables and electrical boxes throughout the park.

2 Circuit-breaker box tampered with. A woman called deputies on Feb. 21 after she found that someone had switched off the lights at her home using the outside circuit-breaker box in the 10000 block of West Stanford Drive, in the Morrison area. The woman said she fell asleep with the lights on and awoke to find them off. Her husband did not turn off the lights and she later found the circuit-breakers had been thrown.

3 Man goes through trash. On Feb. 24, a woman called deputies to report a man digging through a trash can in the 5000 block of South Field Street in the Littleton area. The man was wearing pajama bottoms and slippers. The woman was worried he might have walked away from an assisted-living facility.

4 Attempted car break-in. A woman called deputies on Feb. 21 to report that someone tried to break into her car overnight in the 3600 block of South Pierce Street in the Columbine (Littleton) area. The woman said her car’s door handle was ripped off and it appeared that someone attempted to “slim jim” the vehicle.

5 Sideview mirrors smashed. On Feb. 23, a man called deputies to report vandalism to his car in the 9000 block of West Euclid Avenue in the Littleton area. The man said his sideview mirrors had been smashed.
