Watch big mountain free riders duke it out at the Go Pro Big Mountain Challenge in Breckenridge March 18-20. Youth freeskiers and snowboarders will compete on Peak 6 in this International Freeskier and Snowboarder Association event. Competitions begin at 10 a.m. each day. .aspx#/Competitions
Night ski and dine
The season’s last Moonlight Dine & Ski event at Copper will be held on March 19 on Copper Mountain. Guests will ride the chairlift up to Solitude Station for dinner, drinks, live entertainment and night skiing with cocktails at the end of the evening in Center Village. Frontier Skills Day
The National Park Service will host Frontier Skills Day at Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 19. Participants can learn skills like Indian Sign Language, adobe work, livestock care and frontier cooking. Scavenger hunt
Winter Park will host New Belgium Brewing’s Mountain Adventure Series on March 19 at 10 a.m. The event is a costumed all-day, on-mountain scavenger hunt followed by an adult-friendly after-party.
