Denver police are investigating a shooting in which a man described as having facial tattoos fired shots during a fight outside the Irish Rover Pub.
Police received reports of a shooting Sunday night near Bayaud Avenue and Broadway, according to a 12:47 a.m. Denver police tweet Monday morning.
“It happened outside the premises,” said a man with an Irish accent who answered the bar’s phone Monday morning. “Nobody was hurt or injured.”
The suspect is described as a 6-feet-2 man between the ages of 25 and 35 years old. He has facial tattoos, the news release says.
The bar is billed as a neighborhood Irish pub. A poster on the front window of the bar declares it, “The Official Bar of St. Patrick’s Day.”
“The narrow layout mimics the traditional Irish pubs back in Ireland with our long oak bar offering a wide variety of draughts, spirits and fine wines,” the bar’s website says.
