1 Firestarter. Police arrested a man near West Colfax Avenue and Otis Street in Lakewood on March 3 after witnesses reported seeing him lighting things on fire. The man had eight felony warrants and a meth pipe in his pocket.

2 Car full of trouble. Police tracked down a car full of people who had attempted to shoplift items and use stolen credit cards March 3 at Target, 14500 W. Colfax Ave., Lakewood. Officers found 28 drug syringes, narcotics and stolen credit cards in the vehicle. Two women were arrested on multiple charges.

3 DUI arrest. A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after smashing her Jeep Cherokee into a light pole at West Alameda Avenue and South Sheridan Boulevard in Lakewood on March 4. The woman told police her brakes and steering wheel quit working, and she refused a breathalyzer test.

4 Nonmarital bliss? Police responding to a noise complaint March 2 in the 7700 block of West 12th Avenue in Lakewood arrested a man for breaking a mirror during an argument with his fiancée.

5 Bounty of stolen goods. A shoplifter nabbed at Home Depot, 6701 W. Alameda Ave. in Lakewood on March 3 was found with stolen stock certificates, credit cards, checkbooks and a meth pipe. Police arrested her on multiple charges.

6 Man lies to police. Police cited a man for providing false information during an investigation March 2 when they stopped to question him about suspicious behavior in the area of West Colfax Avenue and Simms Street, Lakewood. He repeatedly provided a false name.
