Denver police are investigating after a woman was shot in the leg early Monday, said Sonny Jackson police spokesman.
The woman was walking in the 4900 block of East 33rd Avenue at about 12:40 a.m. when a “male came and produced a gun,” Jackson said.
“We are not sure what led up to it at this point.”
The woman was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries, Jackson said.
