
1 Uber driver from previous spat returns. On March 15, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies went to the 1300 block of West Saratoga Place in the Morrison area on a report a suspicious Uber driver. Police talked to a woman who said her daughter had tried to run away earlier by calling for a ride. The mother yelled at the driver, unaware he was an Uber driver. Later, the same car and driver came to the house and the woman feared the driver was planning to retaliate.
2 Welfare check initiated by drunken man.A man called deputies on March 17 to ask for a welfare check on his ex-wife whom he said was depressed because she had a sick dog. Deputies responded to the 10000 block of West Walker Place in the Littleton area and contacted the woman. She said she was OK and noted her ex likely made the call because he was drunk.
3 Man removes truck from parking space. On March 13, a man called deputies after he was involved in an argument over an assigned parking space in the 7000 block of West Glasgow Place, Columbine (Littleton). The man said he found a truck parked in his space and called his HOA. The HOA told the man he could move the vehicle himself, so he pulled the truck out. The truck’s owner then came out and threatened to damage his car.
4 Car door found wide open. A deputy investigated a suspicious car on March 13 near the intersection of West Chatfield Avenue and South Upham Way, Columbine (Littleton), after seeing one of its doors was open. The deputy looked inside but everything seemed in order. He then locked the doors and closed them, leaving his card.
