Denver at Memphis

When: 6 p.m. Wednesday&

TV: ALT

Radio: 950 AM

Spotlight on Lance Stephenson:

A rash of injuries has decimated the Memphis Grizzlies’ lineup, forcing multiple players to have to increase their production. Stephenson has answered that call. In the team’s past 10 games, in which Stephenson played nine, he has averaged 17.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists. Stephenson, who went to the Grizzlies via trade this season, is shooting 48.8 percent from the field in that span.

NOTEBOOK

Nuggets:

The Nuggets are looking to snap a two-game losing streak overall but must do so at the FedExForum in Memphis, where they have lost six consecutive games. The Grizzlies have won five straight over the Nuggets overall. This is the third game in four days for the Nuggets, who will finish a four-games-in-five nights marathon Thursday at New Orleans. The Nuggets may or may not have the services of Jusuf Nurkic, who missed the Dallas game Monday because of illness. The Nuggets, who took Tuesday off, are 2-5 in their past seven road games.

Grizzlies:

The last time the Nuggets saw Memphis, on Feb. 29 in Denver, the Grizzlies were busy gobbling up wins like they were going out of style. Things have changed since then. The Grizzlies have lost seven of their past nine, and a power outage on offense has a lot to do with it. During this rough skid, Memphis is averaging just 98.6 points per game and is frigid from the field, with shooting percentages of 42.6 overall and 29.9 from 3-point range. Memphis has hit the century mark in four of its past five games, going 2-2 in those contests. The Grizzlies have played a mind-boggling 27 players this season because of injuries.
