Final Fantasy XV has been ten years in the making and fans finally have a release date. The game is coming out Sept. 30, Square Enix announced at the Final Fantasy XV Uncovered event. Square made the official announcement Wednesday night but the news was leaked earlier Wednesday. The event featured 15 announcements related to the release of the game.

Among them was the news that Florence + the Machine will sing the main theme of the game, a rendition of Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me.” The song was played in the trailer showed during the event.

Also, Square Enix is making “Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV,” a five-part anime series. The first episode is available now and the entire anime will be free to view online on YouTube.

Square Enix unveiled Platinum Demo-Final Fantasy XV, a demonstration with all the mechanics and gameplay of Final Fantasy XV but featuring a standalone story. Platinum Demo is available now and players who beat the demo will gain a special Carbuncle DLC for the upcoming game.
