Getting your player ready...

With Golden State’s 102-94 win over Washington on Tuesday, the Warriors improved to 67-7 — six wins away from breaking the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ NBA record for most wins in the regular season.

But they’re threatening another mark. At 36-0, they could become the first NBA team to finish undefeated at home in the regular season.

And they’re not alone. Nearly 1,500 miles away, the San Antonio Spurs have been flawless at the AT&T Center at 37-0.

Apparently there’s no place like home.

Let’s look at some facts:

• Larry Bird and the 1985-86 Boston Celtics own the NBA record, rattling off a 40-1 record at home in the regular season. And then they went 10-0 in the playoffs en route to the NBA title.

• The Warriors have the record for consecutive regular-season home wins with 54 and counting — breaking the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ mark of 45. San Antonio is currently second with 46.

• San Antonio’s 37-0 record is tied with that Bulls’ team for best home start in history, . A victory over the Pelicans on Wednesday will put them solely in first.

• Both the Spurs and Warriors have a chance to spoil each other’s bid at history. The Spurs travel to Oracle Arena on April 7, while San Antonio hosts the Warriors on April 10.

• The Warriors are outscoring their opponents by an average of 115.9-100.8 at home, a difference of 15.1 points. The Spurs have a 106.0-91.8 advantage, a 14.2-point contrast. There’s a dip against road opponents for both Golden State (7.3) and San Antonio (7.7).

• Stephen Curry actually posts better on the road than at home. He’s averaging 31.9 points away from the Oracle Arena compared to 27.9. He also shoots better on the road (51.2 percent to 49.8 percent).
