Two people were injured, one of them seriously, after one vehicle involved in a two-car accident Sunday burst into flames on E-470 at East Colfax Avenue, the Colorado State Patrol said.
The accident happened at 3:12 p.m., said patrol spokesman Tim Sutherland.
“One vehicle (was) fully engulfed” in flames, Sutherland said.
Shortly after 4 p.m., Sutherland said, the vehicles were being moved from the roadway.
