A 25-year-old man crashed his car into a parked vehicle, causing it to roll onto the roof early Monday morning, Denver police said.

Darian Windom was cited with careless driving, driving under restraint and driving without insurance, said Doug Schepman, a Denver police spokesman.

The crash happened at about 6:12 a.m. on Kalamath Street near 12th Avenue.

Windom allegedly told a Denver police officer: “I know I should not be driving and was going next week to fix my license.”

Windom was not injured in the crash.
