There is a slight chance of rain on Monday in the Denver metro area as the high temperature is only expected to reach the 50s, according to forecasters.

It will be cloudy with only a 20 percent chance for rain, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

The low temperature will be about 37 degrees, so forecasters are no longer predicting snow as a possibility. The high temperature on Monday is expected to be 54 degrees.

There is an even smaller chance for rain on Tuesday at 10 percent.

It will be mostly sunny during the day, with a high near 67 degrees. A southwest breeze of between 5 to 8 mph is expected. It will get continue to calm into the afternoon.

Temperatures will continue to climb through the middle of the week with a high of 72 degrees on Wednesday and 75 on Thursday.

With a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday after noon, the high temperature will drop to about 64 degrees.

It looks like it will be a rainy weekend.

It gets even cooler on Saturday, with a high of 49 degrees under mostly cloudy skies, and a chance for showers and thunderstorms.

There is a chance of showers under partly sunny skies on Sunday, when the high will reach 51.
