A Denver Police bomb squad determined that an object found in a downtown Denver hotel wasn’t a bomb, Christine Downs, police spokeswoman said Monday.

Someone at the Ramada Plaza Denver Central found something that looked like a grenade in a hotel room at about 12:45 p.m.

The bomb squad responded, and by 1:03 p.m. had determined that the object was “inert, it doesn’t pose a threat,” Downs said.
