I’m not picking that up. A construction foreman arrived to a job in the 24000 block of East Euclid Avenue on March 28 and noticed that someone dumped a bunch of boxes all over the job site. He told police he wanted the person responsible to come and clean it up, but no suspect was identified.

No joke. Police responded to a home in the 15300 block of East Penwood Place on April 4 because a man said someone stole his children’s bikes and some camping gear from his open garage a few days earlier. He waited to report the theft because he thought his son was playing an April Fool’s Day prank.

In and out. An alarm at the Goddard School at 21805 Quincy Avenue alerted police to a break-in April 2. A window screen to one room had been cut with a knife, and some cradles in the room where the suspect entered were moved around. Nothing was taken or disturbed.

Robbed construction site. An employee with Richmond American Homes called police to a job site in the 7600 block of South Valleyhead Way because he said someone stole a set of windows April 3.

Check your pockets. A man who lives in the VA nursing home at 1919 N. Quentin St. called police April 1 because he thought someone stole a wad of cash from him while he was sleeping earlier that day. Offices checked the man’s pants pocket and found some of the cash there.

Damaged window. Police were called to the 1400 block of North Joliet Street because someone broke a woman’s bathroom window March 25. There are no suspects.
