WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will travel to Colorado Springs on June 2 to deliver the commencement address at the U.S. Air Force Academy, a White House spokesman said Thursday.

“The U.S. Air Force Academy is recognized for educating and training some of the nation’s most dedicated leaders, and the President looks forward to thanking them for their service,” said Keith Maley, a White House spokesman, in a statement.

No other details were immediately available.
