The first look at the defending Super Bowl champions in game action will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 11 for a reunion in Chicago versus former coach John Fox and the Bears.

The Broncos will get nine days between their next game when the they welcome the San Francisco 49ers to Denver for their Aug. 20 preseason home opener at 7 p.m.

They’ll host the Los Angeles Rams and their No. 1 overall pick at 7 p.m. Aug. 27. A short week ends the preseason on Thursday, Sept. 1 with a trip to Arizona to face the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m.

The Broncos will begin their regular season a week later on Thursday, Sept. 8. Their opponent for that opening game as well as the rest of the schedule will be released at 6 p.m. Thursday evening.

The Broncos aren’t scheduled for any nationally televised preseason games. All will air on KTVD-Channel 20.
