Agents for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation have arrested a 43-year-old man in the cold case homicide of his uncle in January of 2010 from Crowley County.
David Jacob Kirk was arrested Wednesday night for investigation of second-degree murder in the death of Richard Kirk.
Richard Kirk was 61 when he went missing in January of 2010.
The CBI received a tip recently and in conjunction with Crowley and Otero sheriff’s offices served a warrant in Swink.
Kirk has also been charged with possession of a weapon by a previous offender, concealing death and abuse of a corpse.
