Colorado Springs police are investigating the stabbing death of a 29–year-old man as the city’s first 2016 homicide.
Kyle Sullivan was found dead Friday in a home on the 200 block of North 7th Street.
The El Paso County Coroner’s Office ruled his death a homicide.
“While detectives continue to actively work this investigation, no persons of interest have been identified,” police said in a Monday news release.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000 or Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 719-634-7687.
There were five homicides in Colorado Springs at this time last year.
