
A second Sprouts Farmers Market could be coming soon to Arvada, after the City Council this week approved a rezoning to allow for a store in the fast-growing northwest quadrant of the city.
The 28,000-square-foot store would be built on the site of a vacant office building in the Arvada Technological Center at 15000 W. 64th Ave., near Indiana Street.
The Sprouts would be the 31st store in the chain in Colorado — including a store set to open in Loveland at the end of June — and the second in Arvada.
The store would go in along a grocery store-rich corridor, with two King Soopers and a Walmart Neighborhood Market within a mile. A fourth grocer in the area, Safeway,
