Prosecutors on Tuesday officially charged three people arrested in connection to the deaths of two men found in a burning truck in October.

The two men killed were Zachary Allen Moore, of Prague, Okla., and Joshua Trae Foster, of Muskogee, Okla., both 23 years old.

Weld County Sheriff’s investigators believe Foster traveled to Colorado at least three times before in an attempt to purchase large amounts of marijuana to sell in Oklahoma.

, are facing multiple charges, some of which include two counts of first-degree murder after deliberation, two counts of abuse of a corpse, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, and second degree arson.

A third suspect, Nathaniel Lee Youngman, 26, who was arrested on April 7 in Oregon and extradited back to Colorado, is being charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.

, police responded to a vehicle fire near the intersection of Weld County roads 96 and 57 near Nunn. When the Nunn Fire Department put out the fire, firefighters found the bodies of two men in the rear passenger compartment.

Autopsy reports later confirmed that both victims were dead prior to the fire and there was evidence that suggested a gunshot wound to the head.

According to information from arrest affidavits, Foster was specifically targeted in a planned ambush robbery for bypassing Pinney in connecting with his marijuana sellers.

The plan was to use violence if the victims resisted.
